KC Midwest Balloon Festival

The KC Midwest Balloon Festival was at the Kansas Speedway this year.  The boys had fun at the little carnival and we all enjoyed watching the balloons.  They had some fun shaped ones this year but we didn't get to see them all.  Doug was a good sport and rode the Octopus with Louis.  I was sick just watching them.  Will loved the carousel.  He didn't want to get off.  He kept pointing and screaming Ride, Ride.  We need to go back to the zoo so he can ride for free with our unlimited passes.

 Yes I was there too.

Generous Friends

Clara and Julie surprised Will with a fun
drawing board he can take in the car.
I happen to love this one too!

Mary surprised him with a huge package
with a car track that talks.
He was so excited to play with the tow truck
he couldn't wait for me to unpack it.

Alden, Amelia and Solvei sent a super fun new bath toy.
It is a fishing pole that can catch two fish with magnets.
I happen to love love love the wrapping paper.
Almost didn't want Will to open them up!

Birthday night supper at Fritz's

To keep up with the train theme, we took the boys on Monday night for Will's actual birthday to the fun train themed restaurant in Crown Center.  The trains run on tracks above your heads and deliver the food to the tables.  It had been a long time since Will had been here.  Everything was brand new to him.  He was excited to see the trains everywhere.

Choo Choo Mama, Choo Choo

Will got a fun started kit and extra track and trains from Aunt Michelle, Cousin Jakob, and Grandma and Grandpa.  We later set it up on the train table.  Both boys enjoy playing with it.  Will always calls the trains Choo Choos.  I need to take some photos off my phone.  One of the trains had a birthday cake that lights up and plays a song.  He carried it with him everywhere for days.  It is a big hit.

Thank You Grandma and Papa

Grandma Carol and Papa sent a fun package filled with cool puzzles and clothes.  Will loves both. He was also wearing his last present from them too...his alphabet sea shirt.

Birthday Party

We had a few families com over to help celebrate Will's birthday.  I have a few more pictures to add later from my phone.  Clara and Julia came from Will's school (and my work).  Clara's mom Emily and I sat right next to each other at Hallmark while we were pregnant.  And I worked with their Dad Sergio.  Niko and Ryker came to play too.  Ryker was born just 3 weeks after Will.

Grandma Susan and I made Will's cake.  I think it turned out cute and it was delicious.  Gone in just a day!

My little man!

2 Years Old!

A few weeks ago we had Will's 2 year photos taken.  I was super excited to see how great they turned out.  The rocking chair was mine (or Michelle, or Heather's) when I was little.  The little green chair is from Louis' room.  The book Will is reading was a Christmas gift from his cousin Anna. He really was turning on the tv.  The 'mote is his favorite toy.  Tiki Pete made an appearance and so did our beautiful backyard.
