Pistachio Friend

Louis is so creative!

Oops

We are still working on drinking from real cups.  As you can see, we need more practice...a lot more practice.  Will managed to drop his smoothie glass where he sat and shot huge drops of red smoothie 7 feet across the whole kitchen and up the white door.  Yeah...sippy cut, we miss you.

Our Kids are not Silly!

Deer Guests

More deer pictures.  That is my ugly composter in the background.  It still amazes me to see the deer in the yard.  We had them last year too but I don't remember seeing them so often.

Vroom...Remote Control Cars

Of course driving cars in the driveway is a big hit.  Louis is the cop car and Will is the bad guy.  Louis has become really good at controlling the car.  He can even maneuver it under the family car.

Science City Dinosaur Camp

Two weeks ago Louis spent the week at Dinosaur Camp at Science City.  It was a big hit.  He made a book about what he did during the week.  They made fossils, dinosaur planes, pictures, and a working volcano!  The X is the name of Louis' company.   It was a very successful and fun week.  He gets to go back in August.

Loving the books!

Playing with Ryker

We had a great Saturday night this month with the Nakahodos.  I only managed to take a couple pictures of Will and Ryker trying on hats.  I think Will looks like Michelle and Jakob in this picture!

More Backyard Pets

We are lucky to see deer a few times a week in our backyard and on walks around our neighborhood.  Usually we see these two young deer in our yard or our next door neighbor.  They will let us get maybe 20-30 feet from them.  Will isn't the most quiet and calm when he gets excited so we usually interrupt their quiet meal.

Happy Bathtime

Hello Giraffe

Great Grandpa John made this wooden giraffe clothes hook for Aunt Michelle when she was a baby.  He lived in her room for years.  Now it is living in Will's room.  Fitting since he was named after Great Grandpa and the giraffe at the kc zoo was born on the same day as Will!

Bubbles

We tried blowing bubbles a few weeks ago.  The bubble guns weren't very reliable but occasionally made a good amount of small ones. I found out that Will loves to try and tip over the bottle.  So next time I plan to buy a few of the small bottles and just refill them...probably what smart mommies think of the first time!
