training wheels

It is time for Will to be on a bike.  The little trike we have is getting too small for him.  Doug spent the afternoon fitting one of Louis's old bikes with training wheels.  It is harder to pedal.  I think it will take awhile for Will to get used to it.  The boys also went out to get some new gear.

Volleyball BBQ

Last weekend was our annual volleyball BBQ.  Stacey hosted this year.  It was a fantastic cool August evening.  When does that ever happen around here?  I dressed Will in a new shorts outfit that he got from Aunt Sue for his birthday. So cute!

T-Bones

We spent a fun day at the T-Bones a few weeks ago.  The adults enjoyed the game while the kids loved the bounce house and the little park equipment.  The boys took turns getting a picture with Sizzle the mascot.  Will knows the Take me out to the Ballpark song.  Both he and Louis didn't know what Cracker Jacks were.  So Doug bought them a bag each.  The prizes aren't nearly as interesting these days and the taste not what we all remembered!

Splash park playdate

A great little splash park just opened up this summer close to our house.  We haven't gone often but Will loves it.  We invited our friends Conner and Renae to join in the fun. Conner had his first taste of goldfish crackers.  Or as Will likes to call them, Nemos.

Will's Golden Birthday

Will turned 4 on August 4th.  We celebrated by opening presents all week long.  We started off with a fun super with Grandma and Papa.  Grandma decorated Will's cake with Minions.  The kid is absolutely obsessed with Dispicable Me 2 and minions.  He has the movie lines memorized.  So of course he loved the cake! The pictures are out of order.

Louis made Will a card and gave him presents.
