Playing with Aunt Renee and Emo

So I did a terrible job of getting good pictures of Aunt Renee and Uncle Harold's visit. I didn't even get one of Uncle Harold! We had a fun time playing at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The older men were inside watching the Vikings play the Chiefs. The next day we went out to Mi Ranchito and enjoyed some great food with yummy margaritas. Louis was so happy to sit by Susan and Renee. He didn't want them to go back home.

Bring on the Blocks

The boys were stacking blocks. Louis got his tower super high.

New Hoodie

Will loves his new clothes...despite the funny face in the second photo. Thanks Grandma and Papa.

King Tut

Will, Doug and I visited the King Tut exhibit at Union Station. He wasn't very good at posing for photos. We had fun looking but not really a toddler type of activity.

Bubble Bath

We only just realized that Will had never had a bubble bath. So here he is in his first bath with BUBBLES!!!! He was fascinated. He would just hold his hands out and stare at them.

This is a nearby house in our neighborhood. There must be hundreds of glass...shockingly well manicured too. We saw the owner and maybe artist mowing with no shoes. Glad the boys weren't old enough to notice.

KC Midwest Balloon Festival

The KC Midwest Balloon Festival was at the Kansas Speedway this year. The boys had fun at the little carnival and we all enjoyed watching the balloons. They had some fun shaped ones this year but we didn't get to see them all. Doug was a good sport and rode the Octopus with Louis. I was sick just watching them. Will loved the carousel. He didn't want to get off. He kept pointing and screaming Ride, Ride. We need to go back to the zoo so he can ride for free with our unlimited passes.
