Memorial Weekend Part 4 - Hard Workers

Mike was working on the yard that weekend and made the boys help him...or so they imagined.  Will worked so hard he needed a milk break.

Memorial Weekend Part 3 - Bounce House

Mike and Sara said that they should get out the bounce house.  Doug and I thought they were kidding.  The next thing I knew I looked up and saw an inflated house.  It was a huge hit...I mean huge!!!  We had all four boys in it for a few minutes and then separated them out so the older ones could be wilder.

Memorial Weekend Part 2 - Backyard Playset

The little men took their turn playing on the swing and slide while the older boys continued their battle.  Will loves to ride on big boy swings now.  He is actually getting better at holding on.  So far so good.  Joshua showed Will how to go down the slide as Will concentrated on throwing the rocks.  The rocks were great for impact.  The slide was a fast one.  The boys would zoom down and land in the rocks on their bottoms, laugh, and jump up for another turn.

Memorial Weekend Part 1 - Nerf Gun Antics

We spent Memorial weekend in Minneapolis with friends.  As you will see in the pictures, the kids had no fun at all.  Here are some photos from our night with the Preiners.  The night started out with Louis and Michael shooting nerf guns at targets and each other.  The little men wanted in on the action even though the guns were bigger than they were tall.

Pizza Stone Masterpiece

This is Doug's first pizza with our new pizza stone.  Thank you Julie and Phil! He has now made 4 and each one was better than the last. It's a good thing I married someone who can cook.

Driveway Art

The boys had a fun time creating chalk master-pieces with the chalk that the Florida Easter Bunny delivered this year.  This is Louis' duck in water and my bunny.  Below Louis drew pictures of the car and truck with their logos...and Will helped.

A Special Bunny Delivery from Florida

Louis showing Will how to cluck like a chicken.

What is hard to see in this picture is
Will putting his newly found Easter eggs in the box.

The Easter Bunny sent me bubble wrap!!!

You will see the artwork made by this fun chalk in future posts.

The boys and girl loved their special Easter package from Florida.  Thanks Grandma and Papa!!
