Going on an Egg Hunt

We set up an Easter Egg Hunt in the yard this year.  Will struggled with the concept of putting the eggs into the basket.  He would rather take them out.  Once he realized they opened and had treats inside he was more excited to keep the eggs.

The second event of the night was Easter cookie decorating.  Will was Maggie's best friend.  She would ask for a kiss and then give him some icing.  He didn't even hesitate.  Must take after his dad!  Doug enjoyed Louis's cookie masterpiece.  What a fun night!

Dying Eggs with the Franz Family

Maggie prepared a fun night for the kiddos Easter weekend.  Here Madison, Louis and Cameron created some mini masterpieces.  Louis ate his the next morning.  Doug showed him how to crack them and peel them.  He asked Doug how did he learn it and Doug told him Grandma in Florida taught him.

We're off to see the wizard...

Crown Center has a fun Wizard of Oz display for kids.  There are fun buttons to push, a yellow brick road to follow and a slide.  We walked through a few nights ago.  Super fun for Will but we all enjoyed it.

I'm tired, but I look good.

I bought this silly bullfighter hat at US Toy last year.  It has been sitting in a bag for months until I dug it out for Louis to wear to Wacky Wednesday at school a few weeks ago.  It is now the favorite hat in the house.  Here Will is exhausted after a big meal and a busy day of play.

roller skating weekend

Our friend's little girl had a fun roller birthday party.  We took both boys but Will just played with the roller supports.  Louis did a great job.  After a few times around with help he was happy to be on his own.
