Daytona's youngest rookie

Today Will drove in his first Daytona.  He finished in the top 10!

He has already been to his first NASCAR race...last April.

We had our first real storm of the season.  We were home for a few days.  Doug was the awesome guy that he is...digging us a path out.  I grew up in ND... I don't go near the snow!

Sometimes to get Will to sleep, I put him in our bed and turn on the smooth tunes from my phone...Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, and Santana.  His favorite is Adele.

I promised Louis a fish last year.  I told him we had to wait until we settled into the new house.  So Louis reminded me last weekend that we hadn't gotten one yet.  So we went out.  Louis picked out two platys.  Jones (the orange fish) and Bumblebee (the yellow fish).  They swim around a pirate, sponge bob square pant's house and a tiki.  : )  Yes there are fish in there...they are just really small.

The boys like to play with each other these days.  Louis had Will giggling and laughing yesterday in the car.  He was tickling his feet.

Louis spent part of the morning putting together part of his lego set.  He is really great at looking at the directions and following them.  I think his favorite part is putting the stickers on the legos.

Valentine's Day Eve

I needed a break this week so took Wednesday off to run errands and clean up the old house.  I called Doug up and we had a Valentine's Day Eve lunch.  I bought Oklahoma Joe's BBQ, picked him up at work for lunch, and we went to the zoo to eat.  It was a sunny day.  We hung out with some of the animals.  Here we are with Nakita.  There is a new polar bear but we didn't see her yet.  Her name is Berlin and she came from Duluth.

Will received his first teddy bear at his baby shower from my friend Sarah.  It is the softest bear ever.  Fun to cuddle with.

I think I did get a bad picture at 4 months.  The camera had been in the car and was foggy.  Then we moved and the number stickers were lost for awhile.  I finally found them last weekend just in time for Will's 6 month birthday.  He was in a super smiley mood.  I actually had a bunch of cute ones.
